We’re thrilled to share news of the renewal of the contract between the Royal Air Force (RAF) and Donecle that follows on from the successful ASURVEY project initiated by RAF Lossiemouth and funded by RAF Astra.
This partnership emerged from the CAMO team’s needs two years ago, leading to the ASURVEY project designed to implement drone inspections of RAF aircraft, enhancing maintenance speed and accuracy.
Following a one-year technical evaluation of Donecle drones on Poseidon P8 aircraft in Lossiemouth, the project has now transitioned into a multi-drone, multi-year contract.
Donecle’s solution, which facilitates daily aircraft inspections through drone photos captured during a 20-minute flight, has empowered RAF Lossiemouth to expedite aircraft maintenance and data exploitation.
As the RAF’s trusted partner, we’re proud to provide fully automated flight equipment with security accreditation; together, we are shaping the future of operational aviation maintenance.
