Donecle and Air France Industries – KLM Engineering & Maintenance have announced a partnership to integrate drone inspections as part of regular maintenance operations. To date, Donecle has conducted over 50 UAV flights on Air France-KLM A320-family aircraft and intensive testing will be conducted over the coming months as part of AFI-KLM E&M’s MRO Lab Adaptive Innovations program.

Our autonomous UAVs will initially be used for the inspection of regulatory stickers on the aircraft, with operational deployment scheduled for early 2017.

The announcement was made in Amsterdam during MRO Europe 2016, the largest European trade show dedicated to aircraft maintenance.
